Winner to Receive Bullitt Watch Raffled for Parkinson’s Nonprofit

The Bullitt Mustang now shares its legendary likeness with a single-edition watch raffled to benefit Parkinson’s Disease charities. Not only was the chronograph watch painted in a Bullitt-green theme, the inside contains a 1-gram paint fragment from the car-see the above video for more.

Hunziker Design customized the watch and is hosting an open house event to officially hand it off to the raffle winner on April 25 in Torrance, California.

The Bullitt watch was made for Drive Toward a Cure, a nonprofit that operates within the automotive aftermarket to raise money for Parkinson’s Disease awareness and research. The nonprofit managed the raffle, which sold 1,011 entries from 32 states and 12 countries, for a grand total of $25,000. Ford Motor Co., Warner Bros. Studios, Chad McQueen and the McQueen estate all supported the raffle, with proceeds ultimately headed to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

The raffle was conducted in memory of Robert E. Kiernan, Jr., the original owner of the famed Bullitt Mustang since 1974, who was challenged by Parkinson’s Disease.

The event will feature appearances by the watch designers, a live look at the watch, and food and beverage.
