2026 TRIM Road Tour Wraps With Final Road Tour Winner & Overall Champion

TMI Products announced that Greg Heerde’s 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air, built by The Custom Shop, captured top honors at the fifth and final stop of the 2026 TMI TRIM Road Tour during the Triple Crown of Rodding event.

Selected by the TRIM judging panel consisting of Kevin Oeste, Jason Mulligan, Marcel Venable, Sara Morosan, Theresa Contreras and Sean Holman, the Bel Air stood out for its execution, extensive use of TMI components and show presence, according to a company press release.

Heerde’s 1954 Bel Air features a metallic root beer brown and cream white paint scheme and a set of one-off custom wheels designed exclusively by The Custom Shop. Beneath the hood, the Bel Air sports LS-powered performance, highlighted by a uniquely crafted engine cover designed to resemble a miniature hood, complete with its own custom hood ornament.

The Custom Shop carried the same level of detail and craftsmanship throughout the interior, the release noted. The custom cabin features TMI Pro Grand Bucket Seats upholstered in premium Apex Retro Brown leather, paired with complementary Apex Tan leather inserts and accented with contrasting white stitching. The selected materials and color palette connect the interior to the vehicle’s exterior finish.

Matching rear seat upholstery, custom door panels and specially ordered TMI seat inserts create a unified design theme from front to rear. The same premium leather was incorporated into a handcrafted center console and a “Bootlegger”-inspired trunk package. The trunk showcases matching luggage, custom whiskey-themed display elements and a one-of-a-kind speaker enclosure.

Ryno Built Crowned Overall Winner of the 2026 TMI TRIM Road Tour

Following the completion of all five Road Tour events, the TMI TRIM judging panel reviewed each qualifying winner and selected Ryno Built’s 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air as the Overall Champion of the 2026 TMI TRIM Road Tour.

Originally crowned the Road Tour winner at the Grand National Roadster Show earlier this year, the Ryno Built Bel Air continued to impress judges throughout the season with its approach to interior design and extensive integration of TMI components.

At the center of the award-winning build is a fully customized TMI Sport interior with a highly modified molded fiberglass rear seat designed specifically to fit over the car’s large rear wheel tubs. The custom rear seating solution not only solved a challenging packaging issue but also unified the vehicle’s interior design, creating one of the most memorable cabin executions seen on the Road Tour this season, the company said.

The judges cited the build’s creativity, craftsmanship and innovative use of TMI products as key factors in earning the overall championship. By blending performance-inspired styling with show-quality execution, Ryno Built’s 1955 Bel Air has established a new benchmark for custom automotive interior design, the company said.
