Truck Hero Hires Bowling as VP of Operations
Truck Hero Inc. has appointed Bill Bowling as executive vice president of operations, reporting to the company’s Chief Operating Officer Kelly Kneifl.
Bowling will have oversight and responsibility for the truck bed cover brand companies with focus on building high performing teams, optimizing cost structure and deploying lean concepts.
“We are excited to welcome Bill to Truck Hero and to add his operations expertise to our leadership team,” Kneifl said. “He has been extremely successful particularly in the areas of lean manufacturing, operational leadership excellence, continuous improvement and cost reduction/avoidance.”
Bowling has more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry leading multi-site organizations and strategic operational initiatives. He most recently served as regional director of operations for Tenneco Clean Air North America overseeing seven plants and over 3000 employees at peak production. Previous leadership positions include serving as industrial director for Faurecia Clean Air North American, commercial vehicle operations manager for the Cummins Emission Solutions and Faurecia Clean Air North American manufacturing Partnership, as well as plant manager of the Faurecia Gladstone Commercial Vehicle Manufacturing Plant.
