According to Yahoo News, Tesla has sent a company email confirming that 10% of the electric vehicle maker’s staff will be laid off. This comes after a recent announcement where the brand canceled its longstanding plans for a $25,000 base model vehicle.
Tesla currently employs 140,000 workers globally. This round of layoffs is expected to affect at least 14,000 employees.
