Mustang Week Texas Sets Attendance & Vehicle Records for 2026

Mustang Week announced record-setting attendance and participation figures for Mustang Week Texas 2026. The event reached a total of 18,653 attendees in 2026, from the kickoff celebration to all core event days and surrounding activations, according to event officials in a press release. Friday and Saturday at Moody Gardens, the event’s most critical days for sponsors and exhibitors, saw attendance increase 20.6% year over year.
“Mustang Week Texas continues to scale in both size and engagement,” said Scott Parker, head of marketing at Mustang Week. “The growth we’re seeing isn’t just in attendance; it’s in the depth of participation and the quality of the enthusiast experience across every touchpoint. When attendees are choosing our event for milestone moments like marriage proposals, it speaks to the emotional connection and community we’ve built.”
Mustang Week Texas 2026 by the Numbers
Mustang Week Texas 2026 welcomed 2,551 vehicles, a 17.3% increase year over year, reflecting a growing base of highly engaged enthusiasts actively participating across driving, racing, show and community experiences, noted the release. Key highlights from Mustang Week Texas 2026 include:
- 500-plus Mustangs featured in the Official Mustang Week Car Show
- 1,118 vehicles at the Friday Cruise-In, up from 784 in 2025 (+42.6% growth)
- 1,100-plus Ford vehicles participating in Cruise-In activities overall
- Saturday attendance up 25.7%, reinforcing its role as the anchor day for sponsors and activations
Participant-driven experiences saw some of the strongest growth:
- Drag Day participation increased 67.8%, from 149 to 250 participants
- HPDE and Track Experience more than doubled compared to 2025
Mustang Week Texas 2026 also marked the first year of a multiyear title sponsorship with Monster Energy, and the event featured more than 70 vendors and 50-plus sponsors, including key aftermarket leaders such as Late Model Restoration (LMR). Mustang Week Texas is not only expanding in scale, but also in the level of enthusiast engagement, experiential demand, and value delivered to industry partners, event organizers said.
