Meyer Distributing announced a new partnership with Gentili USA, manufacturer of hydraulic-assisted aluminum drop-down ladder racks. The agreement puts Gentili’s G2000 Harrier and G2000 Maxi ladder rack systems in front of Meyer’s national network of dealers, installers and fleet customers, company officials said in a press release.
Gentili’s hydraulic-assisted, drop-down ladder racks are designed for universal application on vans, trucks and pickups, helping reduce overhead lifting, physical strain and risk for contractors and fleets that load and unload ladders every day.
These specialized ladder racks provide a solution for commercial vehicle applications where convenient ladder access and efficient storage are important considerations, the release noted. Their hydraulic-assisted drop-down design allows the rack to be lowered for easier ladder loading and retrieval, while its aluminum construction provides a lightweight alternative for vehicle upfit applications.

The G2000 Harrier is composed of two horizontal bars, adjustable ladder retainers and a ladder rack lock. Its characteristics include effortless vertical release, durability and compatibility with any ladder and vehicle. The G2000 Maxi is designed with a powerful hydraulic system that can safely secure two ladders on any vehicle by carrying them side by side. The ladders are held in place through adjustable load stops.
