TMI Products announced the third winner of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour. The TRIM Road Tour is a multi-stop competition that spotlights the best TMI-equipped vehicles from across the nation, leading up to the TMI Products’ TRIM Awards at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
TMI Products awarded the company’s third of five 2024 TRIM Road Tour winners at the C10 Nationals in Fort Worth, Texas, at the Texas Motor Speedway on May 11, 2024. Judges Chris Baker from C10 Nationals and Scott Mason from CK Trucks Magazine chose Parker Slates’ patina’d 1965 Chevy C10 as the winner, and TMI’s Ross Berlanga completed the trophy hand-off.
Parkers’ C10 uses custom Pro-Classic Sport-VXR buckets covered in dark brown vinyl with brown and beige plaid inserts. The interior design is rounded out with matching Sport-VXR Molded Door Panels and a Deluxe Sport R Molded Center Console.
“Not everyone is into truck builds with the original patina paint still covering the truck but everyone appreciates an interior that stands out. The TMI interior that we put in my ‘65 C10 really topped it off. The dark brown vinyl seats, center console, and door panels featured plaid inserts with matching Butternut yellow accents to compliment the yellow patina color of the truck. The interior is what stops people at the shows,” said Slates.
Slates will compete against winners of the first two stops of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour, Jim McKay and Andy Carlson, along with winners of the two remaining stops, for the 2024 TRIM Road Tour Championship. The champion of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour will earn a trip to the SEMA Show and a five-night hotel stay during the event.
