Premium automotive interiors company TMI Products will host its 5th Annual Cars and Clearance event on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at TMI’s headquarters in Corona, California. The family-friendly automotive gathering will benefit The Salvation Army’s back-to-school backpack drive, helping provide essential school supplies to local children in need, while also serving as the fourth stop of the 2026 TRIM Road Tour.
Giving Back for the Kids
TMI Products is already focused on helping local Southern California K-12 students start the upcoming school year prepared and confident, company officials stated in a press release. With many families facing financial challenges, TMI is committed to supporting the community in a meaningful way by ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. The Salvation Army will be on site during the event to collect new backpacks and school supplies, and attendees can also choose to donate $20, which will cover the procurement of a complete backpack kit for a student.
Requested supplies include:
- Grades K–5: Crayons, blunt scissors, pencils, glue sticks, pocket folders, wide-ruled paper, erasers and rulers
- Grades 6–12: Pens, pencils, spiral notebooks, highlighters, folders (with or without prongs), scissors, rulers and colored pencils
Cars, Clearance & the TRIM Road Tour
In addition to supporting a great cause, attendees can enjoy an impressive lineup of custom vehicles, along with exclusive clearance pricing on select TMI Products, the company said. As the fourth of five stops on the 2026 TRIM Road Tour, one vehicle will be selected to advance and compete against four others for the 2026 TRIM Road Tour Championship at the final stop during the Triple Crown of Rodding, Sept. 11–12, 2026.
The overall TRIM Road Tour winner will receive:
- A trip to the 2026 SEMA Show (Nov. 3–6, 2026)
- A Top 20 finalist position at the TMI Products Trim Awards
- Featured parking at the SEMA Show
- A five-night hotel stay during the event
TMI’s Cars and Clearance event is free to attend and will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
