TMG Performance Hires Industry Vet to Sales Team

TMG Performance Products has hired Chris Thomson to its sales team. The move helps the company support the steady growth of its consumer products business units-Corsa Performance & Volant Performance-that has persisted for the past 5 years. TMG Performance Products hopes Thomson can help it accelerate its growth trends.

“I’m getting another opportunity to join 2 strong brands with great products that I believe I can help reach their growth objectives,” said Thomson, the new national accounts manager for TMG Performance Products. “I spent 14 years of my career with Airaid and another nine years working on the Flowtech exhaust brand with Mr. Gasket, and this opportunity brings me right back into those automotive categories.”

Thomson, for much of the past 35 years, has been a fixture in the aftermarket industry, having served as a SEMA board member and working for Mr. Gasket, Airaid and K&N.

“During his long history in the aftermarket space, Chris has been an integral part of helping those brands greatly improve their sales in both the exhaust and air intake market segments,” TMG Performance Products stated in a news release.

Thomson joined the TMG Performance Products Group in late March. He also serves as a strategic advisor to the leadership team, adding input into the future strategies and tactics of the air intake business unit.
