The Wheel Group (TWG)—a designer, developer and owner of aftermarket wheels, tires, accessories and off-road brands—has promoted Chance Martin to director of sales, Northeast, expanding his leadership role within the company after a decade with TWG, the company announced in a press release.
Martin most recently served as a national account manager, where he developed and managed relationships with key customers and partners. In his new role, he will lead sales efforts throughout the Northeast, working closely with TWG’s sales team, dealers and distribution partners to strengthen relationships, expand opportunities and deliver the products, programs and support customers need to grow, the release noted.
His experience with TWG gives him a unique perspective on the company’s brands, customers and evolving sales strategy. As the company continues to expand its product portfolio and invest in new tools, programs and resources for customers, Martin will play a key role in bringing those resources to the Northeast market.
“Chance has been an important part of the TWG team for the past 10 years, and this promotion is a great reflection of the experience and relationships he has built during that time,” said Marty Kennelly, vice president of sales distribution at The Wheel Group. “He understands our customers, he understands our business and he knows what it takes to build relationships that lead to long-term growth. We’re excited to have him take that experience and leadership into this new role.”
“I’m excited for the opportunity to take on this role and continue building on the relationships I’ve developed over the years with TWG,” said Martin. “Our customers are the reason we’re here, and my focus is going to be on making sure we’re supporting them in every way we can. That means listening to what they need, bringing them the right products and programs, solving problems and finding opportunities to grow together.”
Martin’s approach reflects a broader focus within TWG on becoming an increasingly valuable business partner to its customers. The company says that it continues to invest in sales resources, technology, product development and marketing programs designed to make it easier for dealers and distributors to do business with TWG and capitalize on opportunities in the aftermarket.
