Meyer Distributing has launched a new program, “Mounted. Balanced. Ready for Install,” which will offer mounted and balanced wheel and tire packages to dealers, the distributor announced. The program is available through a Meyer Distributing Sales Associate and gives shops and accessory dealers the ability to offer ready-to-install wheel and tire packages to their customers, the company said.
Meyer’s factory-trained technicians will mount the wheel and tire packages using the Hunter Revolution Tire Changer and Road Force Elite Wheel Balancer. Meyer will be offering this service on wheels between 17-22 inches and tires up to 40 inches, the distributor said.
“Our goal is to help our customer’s capture more sales,” said Scott Hohler, Meyer wheel and tire category manager. “Many shops are turning away this business away because they don’t have the equipment to sell wheel and tire packages. We always look for ways to add more value for our customers and we look forward to bringing wheel and tire packages to our customers on their next Meyer delivery truck.”
