After a successful weekend at Monterey Car Week, the Meguiar’s team is heading to the 39th Goodguys West Coast Nationals in Pleasanton, California, to continue its celebration of the company’s 125th anniversary, company officials announced in a press release.

Hosted at the 270-acre Alameda County Fairgrounds, the Goodguys event is a pillar of the Northern California hot rod scene, attracting more than 3,000 classic cars, trucks and more.

The Meguiar’s team will be on hand to answer questions and highlight its newest products. Attendees looking to preserve, protect and restore the many finishes on their vehicles can head over to the Meguiar’s big rig and challenge the team on their product knowledge.

Additionally, the Meguiar’s team will be wandering the show fields throughout the weekend in search of winners for the Meguiar’s Magnificent Awards, the All-American Awards, and All-American Sunday.

1937 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery Built by Muñoz & Sons

Parked alongside the Meguiar’s big rig will be the ’37 Chevy Sedan Delivery built by Muñoz & Sons in Aromas, California. Completed in 2016, it holds a special place in the Muñoz family history because it sparked the drive and passion that continues today.

Led by the father, Oscar Muñoz, the project was undertaken with his sons Andre (painter), Alonzo (fabricator) and Roberto (project manager). They focused on retaining the original character of the ’37 while lending it a serious hot rod stance. They were able to achieve the stance while keeping the original solid front axle and rear leaf springs.

The team at Meguiar’s says that it was drawn to this project because Meguiar’s was founded in 1901 by Frank Meguiar Jr who ran it with his three sons. The growing business would later purchase a 1937 Chevy Sedan Delivery of their own to get products to customers in California and beyond.

For Oscar Muñoz, their ’37 Chevy also represents the start of a legacy since it was the project that inspired his sons to continue learning, building and carrying the family name forward. It led them to a 1938 Chevrolet Canopy Express, which was primarily created by Robert with family help. Built in a traditional lowrider style, the ’38 featured aircraft hydraulics, a 216-ci Chevrolet inline-six, and placed fourth in the 2025 SEMA Young Guns division of Battle of the Builders.

A member of Muñoz & Sons will be available to visitors at the Meguiar’s big rig throughout the show to discuss the ’37 Chevy Sedan Delivery, the company said.
