Stellantis announced the appointment of Matt McAlear as CEO of the Chrysler brand and head of Alfa Romeo North America, effective immediately, in addition to his current role as CEO of the Dodge brand.
A 13-year veteran of the company, McAlear has spent much of his career working in various leadership positions across sales, marketing and brand management. He was responsible for launching the all-new Chrysler Pacifica in 2016.
In his current role, McAlear is leading the launch of the new Dodge Charger, which has received multiple honors, including 2026 North American Car of the Year, Detroit News 2025 Vehicle of the Year, Detroit Free Press 2026 Car of the Year, TopGear.com U.S. Car of the Year and 2026 MotorWeek Drivers’ Choice Best of Year and Best Coupe.
McAlear replaces Chris Feuell, who has elected to leave the company for personal reasons.
