LIQUI MOLY USA is taking visitors back to the golden era of 1980s motorsports at this year’s AAPEX and SEMA shows in Las Vegas, company officials said in a press release. With iconic German vehicles, modern engineering and booth activations, the lubricant specialist will celebrate its racing heritage while showcasing how it continues to protect performance for the future. AAPEX takes place from Nov. 3 to 5 at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum, while the SEMA Show will gather industry professionals from Nov. 3 to 6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
At AAPEX, LIQUI MOLY will feature a refreshed booth design, showcasing the brand’s modern corporate identity alongside a motorsports-inspired theme on Level 2 in Booth #V3850. A highlight will be Rayteam Automotive’s 1986 Audi Quattro S1 E2, bringing the spirit of legendary 1980s rally racing to the show floor, the company said.
As a long-standing LIQUI MOLY shop partner, Rayteam Automotive also receives support from the brand for its racing activities, including hill climb events such as the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Visitors can explore LIQUI MOLY’s extensive product portfolio, including oils, additives, greases and pastes, plus connect directly with the company’s automotive experts.
LIQUI MOLY Debuts iFLEX Quick Lube Program at AAPEX
LIQUI MOLY USA will also introduce its newest commercial segment at a second booth location at AAPEX 2026, called iFLEX, at the PAMA Pavilion in Booth #V4345. The company says its new program is designed to help quick lube businesses grow through tailored solutions, valuable resources and dedicated support, helping partners strengthen customer relationships and build long-term success.
Engine-Swapped German Builds at the SEMA Show
At SEMA, LIQUI MOLY will take the 1980s theme even further with two iconic German vehicles reimagined with modern performance upgrades in Central Hall at Booth #23961. A BMW E21 featuring a K-Series engine swap and Group 5-inspired bodywork will share the spotlight with a Mercedes-Benz 190E equipped with an LS engine swap and EVO 2-inspired styling. These unique builds celebrate classic automotive design while demonstrating the versatility of LIQUI MOLY’s automotive chemical products across different engines, generations and technologies, combining German heritage with JDM and domestic automotive culture, the release noted.
Beyond the vehicles, LIQUI MOLY has scheduled a lineup of booth activations and special appearances. Motorsports personality Sally McNulty, professional Formula Drift driver Matt Field and automotive expert Charles Sanville, known as the Humble Mechanic, are expected to connect with fans at the booth. LIQUI MOLY will also have interactive activities, limited-edition collectibles and special promotions.
“Motorsports have always been part of LIQUI MOLY’s DNA, and this year we’re bringing that heritage to life in a way that connects the past with the present,” said Eva Tran, vice president of marketing at LIQUI MOLY USA. “From iconic 1980s race cars to modern performance builds, AAPEX and SEMA give us the perfect opportunity to showcase our passion for innovation, connect with the automotive community and demonstrate how LIQUI MOLY continues to protect performance across generations.”
