Forgeline Motorsports has been selected as the optional 18-inch wheel supplier for the Ford Shelby FP350S race car. The company is supplying its GS1R 18×11-inch racing wheel as an option for the race-ready Mustang from Ford Performance.
The Foregeline wheel is made from one-piece forging of 6061-T6 aluminum, ensuring it’s lightweight and highly durable with extreme stiffness and fatigue strength to withstand the stress of competition racing.
The fitment for the FP350S follows the recent selection of the GS1R wheel for Ford’s 2018 Mustang GT4 race car, which is made for competition in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, Pirelli World Challenge, the GT4 European Series and other GT4 events.
The Ford Shelby FP350S is designed for road racing in Trans Am (TA3 and TA4 classes), NASA, and SCCA club racing events. The factory-built race car features a 5.2-liter four-valve-per-cylinder V-8 engine prepared by Ford Performance Parts.
