2019-22 Cadillac and Chevrolet CT4/CT5/CT6/Camaro

Vehicles Affected: GM is recalling approximately 90,000 Cadillac and Chevrolet vehicles, including model-year 2020-21 CT4 and CT5 sedans, 2019-20 CT6 sedans, as well as 2020-22 Camaro performance coupes equipped with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Problem: According to the automaker, the transmission control valve may experience excess wear over time and result in harsh shifting. As such, the front wheels are susceptible to locking up, thereby increasing the risk of a crash.

The Fix: Dealers will install transmission control module monitoring software as necessary and free of charge. Owners will be notified starting April 21.
