2013-19 RAM 2500/3500
Vehicles Affected: Ram is recalling more than 600,000 heavy-duty trucks, including model-year 2013-19 2500 and 3500 pickups with the available Cummins turbo-diesel 6.7L six-cylinder engine.
The Problem: The trucks contain software that allow them to emit more than the acceptable level of nitrogen oxide. An additional 330,000 model-year 2020-23 Ram 2500s and 3500s have undisclosed auxiliary emission-control devices. While these trucks also contain illicit software, Ram says they have not contributed to disproportionate emissions and, thus, are not included in the recall.
The Fix: The automaker will address the emissions-control systems as necessary. Owners will be notified at a date to be determined.

2021-23 FORD F-150
Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling approximately 113,000 model-year 2021-23 F-150s equipped with the Trailer Tow Max Duty Package and a 9.75-inch heavy-duty axle with a three-quarter float axle design.
The Problem: The issue is related to the rear-axle hub bolt, which may fatigue, break and/or damage the axle hub splines. As such, the vehicle can experience a loss of drive power or roll away in Park without the parking brake applied, increasing the risk of crash and/or injury.
The Fix: Although the automaker did not determine a comprehensive remedy yet, owners will be instructed to take their trucks to a dealer for interim repair if they experience issues associated with the rear-axle bolt breakage (e.g., a clicking or rattling noise). Ford will notify owners on Jan. 29.

2011 KIA SORENTO
Vehicles Affected: Kia is recalling approximately 80,000 model-year 2011 Sorentos.
The Problem: According to the automaker, software for the knock sensor detection system was installed improperly, which could cause an engine compartment fire while driving.
The Fix: Dealers will install the software and replace the engine as necessary, for free. Kia will begin sending owner notification letters on Feb. 9.

2021-24 MERCEDES-BENZ VEHICLES
Vehicles Affected: Mercedes-Benz is issuing a recall for nearly 80,000 vehicles, including model-year 2021-24 C-Class, CLS, S-Class, E-Class and AMG GT four-door sedans; E-Class and SL coupes and convertibles; as well as G-Class, GLC, GLE and GLS SUVs.
The Problem: Due to a deviation in the production process, certain fuel pump impellers do not meet Mercedes’ material requirements. As such, certain batches of fuel delivery modules might fall short in durability properties. The defect may result in fuel pump shut down, thereby causing a loss of drive power or increase the risk of a crash.
The Fix: Dealers will replace the fuel pump as necessary, for free. Mercedes will notify owners on Feb. 13.

2022-24 FORD MAVERICK
Vehicles Affected: Ford is recalling approximately 190,000 model-year 2022-24 Mavericks.
The Problem: According to the automaker, if one of the rear turn signals stops working, then the vehicle will not adjust the turn signal flash-rate frequency to warn the driver that the turn signal isn’t working correctly.
The Fix: Dealers will update the body control module software as necessary, for free. Ford will notify owners on January 2nd.
