A Look Back at Bathurst 1946
The Australian Supercars 2020 season comes to an end with the Bathurst 1000 this weekend, so to recognize the occasion, The Gentleman Driver took a look back at some photos from a 1946 race at the Mount Panorama circuit.
The New South Wales Grand Prix was just 25 laps, but only nine of 22 starters would finish the race. Among the cars taking part in the race were several MGs, an Alfa Romeo Ford, a Bugatti Ford, a Jaguar SS100 and even a Willys Jeep Monoposto.
