The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) named Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) as its Manufacturer of the Year and Motor State Distributing as its Channel Partner of the Year during the SEMA Show Kickoff Breakfast in Las Vegas. The annual awards recognize companies for their outstanding contributions to the automotive specialty-equipment industry during the past year, SEMA officials said in a press release.
“Advanced Clutch Technology and Motor State Distributing demonstrate the innovation and channel leadership that move our industry forward,” said SEMA CEO Mike Spagnola. “ACT’s product development and Motor State’s commitment to dealers, racers and manufacturers are strengthening the marketplace and creating new opportunities across the industry. We are proud to recognize them for their achievements.”
Advanced Clutch Technology Named 2026 SEMA Manufacturer of the Year
Advanced Clutch Technology expanded its clutch kit lineup to support newly launched platforms, expanding coverage for newly introduced vehicle platforms. That momentum was reinforced when Motor State Distributing quadrupled its stocking inventory of ACT clutches and components, reflecting increased dealer demand and distributor confidence.
ACT manufactures its products at its Lancaster, California, facility and supports applicable products with SFI certification and a one-year warranty. Its continued product development, domestic manufacturing capabilities and growing distributor support helped distinguish the company as the 2026 SEMA Manufacturer of the Year, SEMA officials said.

Motor State Distributing Earns SEMA Channel Partner of the Year
Motor State Distributing earned the 2026 SEMA Channel Partner of the Year award by expanding its investment in dealer and racer education, safety and industry engagement. The company hosted its second annual Safety Summit in March 2026, presented by K1 RaceGear, nearly doubling attendance from 2025 and increasing manufacturer participation by 50%.
Serving dealers across the U.S., Canada and more than 68 other countries, Motor State continues to back up its scale with genuine investment in dealer and racer education, safety and community-building. Together with six previous SEMA industry awards, these efforts underscore Motor State as a standout choice for this year’s honor, the release noted.
