Stellantis has announced that Mauro Pino, automotive manufacturing veteran and a former head of North America manufacturing for the company, is returning to once again lead manufacturing in North America, overseeing all regional operations, effective immediately.

“With 25 years of history and impact within our company, Mauro’s return demonstrates the incredible know-how and talent we foster and grow,” said Antonio Filosa, Stellantis CEO and COO North America. “Having previously led the manufacturing organization and vehicle assembly facilities, as well as been a driving force in the implementation of operational excellence programs across our operations, Mauro’s leadership will continue to foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety and quality.”

From early roles inside the company’s plant operations in Italy to senior leadership positions in North and South America, Pino consistently championed rigorous standards, reducing waste, empowering teams and elevating performance, company officials stated in a press release. His deep understanding of the production system and hands-on approach helped transform manufacturing sites, like Toledo Assembly Complex, into global benchmarks of efficiency and excellence.

Pino joins Stellantis from Eaton Aerospace, where he most recently served as director of transformation for its North American operations. He also spent time as plant manager for two sites.
