Motorsports and high performance automotive provider and speed shop Quantum Speed Works has selected Uwharrie Motorsports Park & Resort, a premier motorsports destination spanning 400 acres in the heart of North Carolina, as the location for its second facility. This strategic expansion underscores Uwharrie’s emergence as a top-tier destination for motorsports innovation, high-performance driving and automotive technology development, the companies noted in a press release announcing the collaboration.

Gorrera also joined the executive leadership of Uwharrie Motorsport Park as managing partner & chief financial officer.

Located trackside at VIRginia International Raceway, Quantum Speed Works has built a reputation for delivering precision-engineered performance solutions for competitive motorsports teams, high net-worth automotive collectors and discerning enthusiasts, according to the release. With a strong presence at premier racing venues nationwide, the expansion will establish a dedicated research, testing and customer service hub at Uwharrie Motorsports Park.

The 3.2-mile, FIA Level 2-sanctioned circuit, diverse elevation changes and multiple track configurations make Uwharrie Motorsports Park an optimal environment for real-world testing and driver development. The new Quantum Speed Works facility will offer:
