Racecar Engineering Again Hosting Popular ‘Vendor College’ Event

Annual get-together offers racers, teams & manufacturers valuable one-on-one time…

Racecar Engineering is again hosting its Vendor College event for local, regional and visiting racers. Scheduled to coincide with the second weekend of Speedweeks in Lakeland, Florida, meetings will be held from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 9.

Vendor College 2025 is designed to allow drivers, their teams and their dealers to interact one-on-one with factory personnel from nearly 90 prominent product manufacturers.

“If you’ve ever been fortunate enough to attend the PRI Show or any racing trade event, many racers and teams know that it can be hard to get up-close and personal with their favorite brands and the factory reps they may have spoken to on the phone over the years,” said Steve Dorer of Racecar Engineering. “And when you’re at the track, let’s face it, it’s tough to connect with the factory reps with 100% focus between setup, practice and qualifying. So, we’re again giving racers and their teams the opportunity to meet our vendors face to face to discuss technical questions or perhaps solve problems. And, who knows, they may just find or learn something new that helps give them that winning edge they’ve been looking for during the 2025 racing season and beyond.”

Vendor College 2025 will feature a large tent packed with factory personnel displaying the latest and greatest racing parts and 2025 new product literature, according to a press release announcing the event. Goodie bags, food and refreshments will be available for a small charitable donation and other highlights include a charity raffle, racing simulator rigs courtesy of Speed-U, kids’ activities and deals on racing parts and equipment.

“RCE is fortunate to be at the crossroads during these two exciting weeks of short-track racing, as a majority of the racers will be passing right through our city,” Dorer noted. “This date is one of the only ‘less-busy’ days that the teams will have, so this time each year we officially open our facility at Racecar Engineering to allow vendors, racers and our dealers to meet in person.”

Manufacturers scheduled to be on-site during the event include AFCO Racing, Allstar Performance, Alcon Brakes, Bassett Wheel, Bell Racing, Bert Transmission, Bilstein, Cometic Gasket, COMP Cams, Daytona Sensors/JMS Chip, Driven Racing Oil, DRP Performance, Edelbrock, Eibach, FAST Electronics, Five Star, Fragola Performance, HANS, Holley, Hyperco, Longacre Racing, MSD, OMP Safety, PEM Racing, Powermaster, Pro-System, QA1, QuickCar Racing, RaceQuip, Simpson, Strange Oval, Stilo, Swift Springs, Velocita, Wilwood Brakes, XS Power Battery and dozens more.

The event is free and all proceeds from raffle tickets and food donations will directly benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and Shriners International. Vendor College events have raised more than $40,000 for charity over the years.
