Galpin Motors to Launch ‘My Porsche Story’ Video Series

Galpin Motors has announced its new digital series, “My Porsche Story,” will debut at the post-Luftgekühlt brunch on Oct. 6, at Porsche Santa Clarita. The video series will feature inspirational stories from some of the most influential figures in the Porsche community, including Magnus Walker, Matt Farah, J. Ryan and Bruce Meyer.

“My Porsche Story” celebrates the passion and dedication of Porsche enthusiasts, showcasing their unique journeys and connections to the iconic brand, according to an announcement. Episodes will be released bi-weekly, offering viewers an intimate look at how Porsches can change lives in sometimes unconventional ways.

“We are beyond excited to debut this project,” said Beau Boeckmann, president and CEO of Galpin Motors. “We had such a great experience working on ‘Pimp My Ride’ and ‘Car Kings,’ but this is the first time we’ve done our own production and launched a series. All of us can’t wait to share these incredible stories with car lovers around the world.”

Fashion designer-turned-Porsche legend Walker tells the tale of the search for his “dream car,” a first model-year 930 Turbo. Farah tells his story about how his Porsche 718 Spyder sank to the bottom of the ocean. Then there’s Ryan, cofounder of LA’s hallowed “Good Vibes Breakfast Club” weekly pilgrimage along Angeles Crest Highway. 

“The way Ryan recounts sharing a Porsche 997 911S with his late wife Nicole as they cruised to Newcomb’s Ranch every Friday is an incredible tribute to her and to what has become one of LA’s most treasured institutions,” the release states.

The first three episodes – which feature Walker, Farah and Ryan –  will debut at the launch party that doubles as the post-Luftgekühlt brunch, to be held at Porsche Santa Clarita on Oct. 6. The Cars & Coffee event will run from 9 a.m. to noon.
