UAW Expands Strike to Kentucky Ford Truck Plant
The United Auto Workers (UAW) union has expanded its strike to include Ford’s Kentucky truck plant, according to Reuters.
According to the report, 8,700 workers at the plant are now on strike. The facility is Ford’s most profitable, generating $25 billion in annual sales, approximately a sixth of Ford’s global revenue.
The move is a part of the union’s ongoing strike across the three major U.S. automakers, which also includes General Motors and Stellantis.
