Wilwood Disc Brakes announces a continued partnership with Speed Ventures on the Wilwood Corvette Challenge for 2024.
Wilwood’s sponsorship of the Corvette Challenge is now in its ninth year. Speed Ventures hosts a multitude of time trial competitions on the West Coast, allowing sports car owners to get out in a safe track environment and push vehicles to the limit.
The Wilwood Corvette Challenge is a way for current and prospective customers to test their vehicles’ suspension, brakes, and other OE or aftermarket components to get real-time feedback on what parts work well and which ones have room for improvement, the company stated.
“Partnering with Speed Ventures allows Wilwood to be involved in this growing genre of motorsports that tests both man and machine. These West Coast events are hosted at many well-known tracks, including Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Spring Mountain, Laguna Seca, and Chuckwalla,” the company noted.
Remaining 2024 Wilwood Corvette Challenge events include:
- May 11 – Streets of Willow
- Jun 1 – Spring Mountain, Charleston Peak
- Jul 27 – Buttonwillow Raceway Park
- Aug 24 – WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
- Sep 21 – Willow Springs Road Course
- Oct 19 – Buttonwillow Raceway Park
- Nov 9 – Chuckwalla Valley Raceway
