Wharton Automotive Group Acquires Competition Clutch

Wharton Automotive Group Inc. (WAG) has acquired sport compact single-disc clutch line Competition Clutch Inc. The aquisition will add to WAG’s continuous expansion in the high-performance automotive driveline market.

Competition Clutch will be based out of McLeod Racing’s manufacturing plant in Anaheim, California.

The sport compact market is large with a loyal following and dedicated participants. We’re excited to service their driveline needs.”

From stock replacements to full-race twin-disc and triple-disc clutches, Competition Clutch is a one-stop-shop for sport compact clutch kits, flywheels and accessories.


Competition Clutch joins the other WAG brands that include McLeod Racing, FTI Converters & Transmissions, FTI Performance Parts, Powertrain Technologies and Silver Sport Transmissions.
