WD-40 to Celebrate 70th Anniversary at SEMA Show | THE SHOPWD-40 Brand will be celebrating its 70th anniversary at the 2023 SEMA Show, the company announced.

Visitors to the WD-40 Brand booth in the West Hall (No. 50091) will be able to explore the brand’s history and its product lineup, beyond the WD-40 Multi-Use Product invented 70 years ago, the company said. This includes the WD-40 Specialist product line, and its newest products, the WD-40 Precision Pen and WD-40 Specialist Degreaser and Cleaner EZ-Pods.

Attendees will also be able to view hands-on demonstrations and receive samples of Degreaser and Cleaner EZ-Pods. Attendees can also check out progress of a custom chase truck the brand is building with Trad Ronfeldt, the founder of T.R.A.D. (Team Racing and Development), and influence the final design of the truck by voting on its custom livery.

“70 years ago, the Original WD-40 Formula was born from a spirit of grit, perseverance, and innovation,” said Erin Bala, vice president of U.S. marketing and Americas innovation at WD-40 Company. “Today, this spirit continues to drive us with new products and partnerships that engage our end users in new ways. We’re thrilled to be able to share some of our history and future with visitors at our SEMA booth.”

The Original WD-40 Formula, developed in 1953, was created to help protect the Atlas Missile as it propelled into space, the company said.
