Turn 14 Distribution Adds AVS to Line Card
Turn 14 Distribution has furthered its automotive accessory offerings with the addition of Auto Ventshade (AVS) to the company’s line card.
“AVS produces quality accessories for vehicle protection and added style across a broad list of automotive applications. The company’s functional window deflectors are its signature product which are offered in a variety of designs and provide an OE level of fitment. We are eager to now offer our customers AVS’s product line here at Turn 14 Distribution,” said Kyle Shelley, Turn 14 Distribution’s director of sales.
Since 1935, motorists have used products from AVS. The company utilizes TS standards with on-site design and key tooling resources for its accessories.
Asa Phillips started a company called Auto Ventshade in 1935 in Jacksonville, Florida. This new company was built around the Ventshade, an innovative device that mounted above car windows letting fresh air in while keeping out rain and wind with the window open. The Ventshade was originally offered in metal only. Because it became such a popular automotive accessory, Phillips’ son, Asa Phillips, Jr., developed the Ventvisor side window deflector in plastic.
In 1998, LUND International acquired AVS. The brand name has since become synonymous with Ventvisor side window deflectors, hood protectors, and more innovative products to help you enjoy and protect your vehicle, according to the company.
