TMI Products has announced the fourth winner of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour. The TRIM Road Tour is a multi-stop competition that spotlights the best TMI-equipped vehicles from across the nation, leading up to the TMI Products’ TRIM Awards at the 2024 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
TMI Products awarded the company’s fourth of five 2024 TRIM Road Tour winners July 14 at the GoodGuys Rod & Custom show in Columbus, Ohio. Judges from around the automotive industry chose Mark Garrett’s mint green 1961 Volkswagen Beetle, with TMI’s Ross Berlanga presenting the trophy.
Th Volkswagen’s story has deep family ties. Belonging to Garrett’s father since the mid-‘70s, when he decided to return a nothing but a shell of a car to the road, Garrett eventually took ownership of the VW when his aging dad could no longer maintain it. The Beetle elegantly showcases the quality that TMI is known for, as it sports a 20-year-old TMI interior, proving that TMI products are made for the long run.
“TMI makes the best interior products for you VW and my interior still looks great even though its 20 years old,” said Garrett.
Garrett will compete against winners of the first three stops of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour, Jim McKay, Andy Carlson, and Parker Slates, along with one remaining winner who will be chosen next month, for the 2024 TRIM Road Tour Championship.
The champion of the 2024 TRIM Road Tour will earn a trip to the SEMA Show (November 5-8, 2024) that will include a Top 20 finalist spot at the TMI Products’ Trim Awards event, a pass to the SEMA Show, a feature parking spot at the SEMA Show, and a five-night hotel stay during the event.
Only one stop remains on the 2024 TRIM Road Tour and it’s not too late to enter your vehicle for consideration. The final stop is TMI Cars & Clearance in Corona, California on Saturday, August 17.
