The LEER Group, a manufacturer of truck caps and tonneau covers, has partnered with eTool Developers to replatform LEER.com onto a modern e-commerce platform. This initiative marks a major step forward in The LEER Group’s automotive aftermarket digital transformation strategy, enhancing data accuracy, improving dealer and consumer communication, and laying the foundation for continued product and brand expansion, company officials stated in a press release.

Centralized Product Data for Efficiency & Growth

With over 24 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket, The LEER Group’s partnership with eTool Developers represents its 2025 digital initiative to bring technical expertise and industry-specific insight into the project. They used eTool Developer’s understanding of the aftermarket’s complex data and distribution ecosystem to enable a smooth and effective implementation process, noted the release.

A key outcome of the replatforming was the integration of eTool Developers’ Product Information Management (PIM) system with a centralized, cloud-based data hub. This PIM platform integration has significantly improved data consistency, accuracy and scalability, allowing The LEER Group to communicate product information more effectively across channels, including to dealers, distributors and consumers, the company said.

Expanding National Reach Through Digital Enablement & New Distribution Facility
