Sun Auto Tire & Service announced the acquisition of 33 Caliber Auto Care locations throughout the state of Texas, building on its investment in the Lone Star State.
The acquisition reinforces Sun Auto’s dedication to excellence and its values-centered approach across its rapidly growing national footprint, according to a press release announcing the acquisition.
“Our decision to acquire the Caliber Auto Care business, and Caliber’s choice to sell to Sun Auto, highlights the mutual respect both companies have for one another. I look forward to welcoming Caliber Auto Care teammates into our Sun Auto family,” said Sun Auto CEO Tony Puckett.
“I have seen firsthand the professionalism and people-first culture at Caliber Auto Care and I couldn’t be happier to grow our team in these strategic Texas markets,” added Chris Ripani, Sun Auto COO.
The 33 Caliber Auto Care locations spread across Dallas, Houston and San Antonio complement Sun Auto’s existing footprint in these markets, the release noted.
