Six-Wheeled Ferrari Testarossa Spotted in Texas

According to a report from Motor 1, Gas Monkey Garage may be working on a unique Ferrari Tesstarossa recreation. While the project has not been completely confirmed to be owned by the shop, Motor 1 did note that the tow rig matches a very similar Ram truck that has been seen at the garage. Plus, the footage from Hvber.media on Instagram notes the video was taken in Dallas, which is near the Gas Monkey shop.

The six-wheeled supercar is not the shop’s first foray into the Ferrari model. Previously, the group built the “Testa” an EV roadster conversion of the rare supercar which was shown at SEMA back in 2023. So the shop is not opposed to pushing the limits of 80s Italian design in their own direction. In total, just 7,177 examples of the V12 supercar were produced by Ferrari between 1984 and 1991.

The report from Motor 1 also notes that shop owner, Richard Rawlings bought five Testarossa models after they were used for filming a movie late last year. This six-wheeled example seems to still be in progress as the rear end shows off a bare metal diffuser and is seemingly missing some bodywork which would cover that second rear axle.
