Shipping Expert: Russia, Ukraine Conflict Could Impact Global Supply Chain

The ongoing military conflict involving Russia and Ukraine could have an impact on the global supply chain, a shipping expert told CNBC.

Lars Jensen of Vespucci Maritime says that as long as the problem of port closures remains confined to Ukraine, global shipping congestion issues will not, to a large extent, be affected, but any port closures in Russia could have wide-ranging implications.
