Saleen Single-Make Series Folds

High performance sports car manufacturer Saleen has cancelled its arrive-and-drive single-make series, the Saleen Cup, a week before the scheduled start to its 2020 season, the company confirmed to Sportscar365.

Resources from the series will be reattributed to the Saleen 1 GT4 car, according to a Saleen spokesperson.

The series held a total of four events, culminating with the 2019 season finale at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

A support series for SRO America events, the series allowed drivers of all skill sets to compete in one of twenty identically prepared S1 track cars.
