RNR Tire Express Celebrates 25 Years and Continued Growth

Company building on momentum after opening its 200th location in 2024...

In 2024, RNR Tire Express, a franchise retailer of tires and custom wheels, signed agreements for six total stores and nine opened stores–including the opening of its 200th location in Schenectady, New York. The company plans to build on that momentum in 2025 while celebrating its 25th anniversary.

As RNR begins the new year, the team is preparing to enter three new markets and two new states. The first-ever stores in Idaho and Oregon are scheduled to open in the first half of 2025, while Birmingham’s inaugural location is anticipated to open in the third quarter of the year, marking the sixth location in Alabama.

Serving the brand since 2017, Adam Sutton will lead RNR into its 25th anniversary year after being promoted from president to CEO in 2024. Sutton plans to use his more than two decades of executive leadership experience to oversee the brand’s continued growth, innovation and efforts to remain a “value-driven company”.

“We’re proud of the significant strides the RNR brand made last year,” said Adam Sutton, CEO of RNR Tire Express. “This growth is a direct result of our amazing franchisees and corporate team’s strategic focus on our company’s core values as we strive to create a thriving culture, serve our customers and try to leave a positive impact on our communities. We’ve been blessed to continue building on top of an amazing foundation of those that believed in us early on and are excited for the future as we elevate our franchisee support offerings and expand our retail locations footprint nationwide.”

Internal Promotions at RNR Tire Express

To assist in the company’s efforts, Sutton recently promoted several key executive team members: Matthew Warren, Susan Vice, Kyle Parman and Matt King who all received new titles in 2024. Warren was promoted to COO, Parman to president of corporate store operations, King to VP of corporate store operations and Vice to VP of Finance.

“My father always taught me to surround yourself with smarter people than you and empower them to lead,” added Sutton. “As we continue to work towards accomplishing our 5-year vision, I was honored and privileged to leverage our in-house, veteran experience through these promotions. The changes in leadership position us to capitalize on our collective strengths, enabling unparalleled franchisee support and further establishing RNR as an industry leader.”

Last year, RNR was ranked No. 48 on Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Top Brands for Multi-Unit Owners” list, No. 186 on the 2024 Franchise Times Top 400, and Franchise Business Review Top Franchise for 2024. That momentum has continued early into 2025 with RNR earning a spot on Entrepreneur’s 46th Annual Franchise 500 list at No. 245, the brand’s 11th straight year making the ranking.
