Ree Automotive Prepares for First Public Vehicle Reveal
The company's Reecorner technology combines steering, brakes, powertrain & controls into a compact module...
REE Automotive Ltd. (Nasdaq: REE), an automotive technology company and provider of full by-wire electric trucks and platforms, will exhibit at the National Truck and Equipment Association’s (NTEA) Work Truck Week in Indianapolis, Indiana, March 5-8.
During the show, REE will debut two configurations of its fully by-wire P7-C: a demo chassis cab format and a full utility body utilizing Knapheide’s KUV body.
Vehicles Powered by REE are equipped with the revolutionary REEcorner, which packs critical vehicle components (steering, braking, suspension, powertrain and control) into a single compact module positioned between the chassis and the wheel.
As the first company to FMVSS certify a fully by-wire vehicle in the U.S., REE’s proprietary by-wire technology for drive, steer and brake control eliminates the need for mechanical connection. Using four identical REEcorners enables REE to make the industry’s flattest EV platforms with more room for passengers, cargo and batteries.
This will mark the first time the vehicle has been seen by the public since it made history as the first fully by-wire vehicle to achieve FMVSS certification in the U.S.
On Wednesday, March 6, at 3:45 p.m., REE and Knapheide will host a joint press conference showcasing a comprehensive electric fleet solution, aimed at reducing downtime and improving time to market while qualifying for IRA incentives.
