Progress Manufacturing Adopts New Brand Protection Policies
Progress Manufacturing is set to launch its new Brand Protection Program, which includes a Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) and Authorized Reseller policies.
The Authorized Reseller policies become effective Oct. 15, while the MAP policy will go into effect Dec. 3, 2018.
Some of the key points of the new policies include:
After Oct. 15, Progress Manufacturing products will only be sold to authorized dealers/resellers. Only those granted written approval will be permitted to sell Progress Manufacturing products on marketplace websites, like Amazon and eBay.
When the MAP policy goes into effect Dec. 3, anyone who advertises products covered by the MAP policy will be subject to the unilaterally applied MAP policy.
