New iPhone Equipped with Crash Detection

The new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch from Apple are equipped with an automotive crash detection function, according to CE Outlook.

The new iPhone 14 models and Apple Watch Series 8, SE and Ultra, are equipped with a new dynamic range gyroscope and an accelerometer capable of detecting G-force measurements of up to 256Gs to help determine when you’ve been in a severe crash.
