Mustang Week Brings 6-Day Festival to Concord for Its Largest Event Yet

The Mustang and Ford performance event, Mustang Week, will take over Charlotte Motor Speedway and zMAX Dragway for a six-day celebration of car culture, motorsports and community on Aug. 24-29, 2026, event officials stated in a press release.

Backed by presenting sponsors Monster Energy and ROUSH Performance and more than 60 vendors and brands, Mustang Week Charlotte 2026 will bring together some of the biggest names in Ford aftermarket performance at the zMAX Dragway, noted the release. The event is expected to draw more than 30,000 attendees and 5,000 vehicles to the Concord area over the course of the week, generating an estimated $20-plus million in economic impact through hotel bookings, dining, fuel and local spending.

Mustang Week Charlotte represents the event’s largest expansion in its 20-plus-year history and positions the Charlotte region as a flagship destination for national automotive lifestyle events, organizers said.

Event Highlights

Mustang Week Charlotte 2026 will feature motorsports, lifestyle programming and community events, including:

• The Official Mustang Week Car Show presented by ROUSH — one of the largest all-Mustang and Ford car shows in the Southeast.
• Drag racing, roll racing, autocross, drifting exhibitions and burnout competitions at zMAX Dragway.
• Road Racing, track experiences and ride-alongs at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
• Mustang Week Mayhem — an evening featuring fireworks, live entertainment, professional drifting and burnout exhibitions.
• Vendor midway featuring leading aftermarket performance and automotive lifestyle brands.
• Community events throughout the Charlotte area, including the official Kick-Off Party at Mac’s Speed Shop in Concord, all-Ford cruise-ins, poker runs, karting competitions and enthusiast meet-ups.
