Luftgekühlt Sets Its Sights on Atlanta for Luft 12 Air-Cooled Porsche Gathering

Following its successful East Coast gathering with Luft 11, Luftgekühlt continues its expansion south to Porsche's U.S. home in Georgia…

After Luftgekühlt’s first East Coast gathering at Luft 11 in Durham last October, the team is taking the experience south to Atlanta, Georgia, for Luft 12, set to take place on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026. The move reflects Luftgekühlt’s ongoing growth and ability to bring unique, community-driven experiences to new audiences, while continuing to evolve the format, event officials stated in a press release.

Positioned near Porsche Cars North America headquarters and the Porsche Experience Center, the location aligns naturally with the brand’s long-standing relationship with Porsche while continuing its tradition of pairing unique environments with carefully curated vehicles, noted the release. The Luftgekühlt team has had success in the Atlanta region before through the production of multiple event experiences at the nearby Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton, Georgia, which will host the 10-hour Motul Petit Le Mans endurance race the week before the Luft 12 event in October.

Luft 12 & Atlanta’s Automotive Community

As with previous events, Luft 12 will bring together a mix of art, culture, cars and community in a setting that reflects both the heritage and broader lifestyle surrounding the brand. Serving as a hub for corporations such as Coca-Cola, which sponsored iconic 935 and 962 model race cars of Porsche’s racing success, Atlanta has much to offer, including many unique backdrops and diverse canvases for expressing the stories of the air-cooled Porsche community.

“Atlanta felt like a natural next move for us,” comments Patrick Long, founder of Luftgekühlt & Air|Water. “Being so close to Porsche’s U.S. home adds another layer to the experience, and we’re excited to bring the community together there this fall. As the brand continues to expand into new regions, moments like this reflect a broader intention to connect with audiences in meaningful and culturally specific ways.”

More to Come From Luftgekühlt

Luftgekühlt plans to continue expanding its event calendar following the success of its Tokyo debut, with additional announcements expected in the coming months. This continued growth reflects the increasing global demand for events that blend automotive passion with culture, design and community, event officials said.

Additional details for Luft 12, including the official venue announcement, exact location and ticketing information, are expected to be released soon.
