Lubrication Specialties (LSI), manufacturer of Hot Shot’s Secret, announces new support for Hot Shot’s Secret field events with the addition of Matthew Steinmetz to field marketing representative and the promotion of Kaysie Keen to a newly created position, field marketing manager. 

Keen previously served in a support role in the marketing department as a marketing project specialist. She joined LSI in 2016 and has been instrumental in providing support for the company’s product launches, promotions, and trade shows, according to officials.

In her new role, she will now report to Kyle Fischer, Hot Shot’s Secret’s director of field marketing & partnerships. In this new role, Keen will manage all event assets, inventory, track and report on field sales, assist with contract negotiations, monitor and screen sponsorship applications, and coordinate event details.

Steinmetz, formerly a multimedia and graphics manager for World Pulling International/National Tractor Pullers Association, is a graduate of Ohio State University. A self-professed die-hard diesel enthusiast, he managed product placement and co-op advertising programs, developed websites, and created strategies to grow social media accounts across different digital platforms.

Steinmetz joined LSI in March to add field support for the Hot Shot’s Secret brand at consumer and trade events. This position is key to driving brand awareness through customer interaction at events sponsored by Hot Shot’s Secret, as well as trade and dealer/account shows. In this role, Steinmetz will develop social media campaigns to drive sales, support and develop new dealers, collaborate on marketing and product collateral, and provide customer tech support as needed and will also report to Kyle Fischer.

Lubrication Specialties President, Brett Tennar says, “We are excited to have Matthew join our team and Kaysie is a perfect fit for the field marketing manager’s position. She is very detail-oriented and will help our shows run smoothly. Matthew is already known here as he has attended many of our events in the past, He is well known at pulling events and has great people skills. With over 30 race events scheduled for 2024, the timing could not be better to have additional field support for Hot Shot’s Secret.”

Fischer adds, “I have worked with Kaysie for years and she can always be counted on to get the job done right. I am excited to have Matthew on board too. He has versatile skills, knows our products, and loves diesel competition. It’s a dream fit to have both on our team.”
