HOT ROD Power Fest Coming to Atlanta’s EchoPark Speedway in August

HOT ROD Power Fest has been scheduled for Aug. 28-29 at Atlanta’s EchoPark Speedway for the ultimate celebration of car culture, event officials stated in a press release. From American muscle to street rods, this event is expected to bring together fans from across every age group.
With the popular HOT ROD Power Tour on Route 66 almost sold out for 2026, HOT ROD says fans have been asking for another event, and it has answered with the HOT ROD Power Fest in Atlanta. The new two-day event will feature pit road drag racing, autocross, a car show and much more.
Pit Road Drag Racing
The pit road 1/8-mile drag racing will consist of three categories:
- Small Tire
- Stick Shift Shootout
- Daily Driver Challenge
Cash payouts for each class include $1,500 for the winner, $750 for the runner-up and $500 for semifinalists (2).
Autocross
The autocross competition blends driver skill and machine capability into one event. All participating vehicles will be placed in one of the three classes:
- Modern — 1990 and newer
- Vintage — 1989 and older
- Truck/SUV — All trucks and SUVs. No dual rear wheels. Stock ride height or lower. Rigid bed covers must be secured or removed.
Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall in each category.
