The second annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Grand National Truck Show is taking place Sep. 14-15 at the Fairplex in Pomona. Hosted by Rod Shows, the event will celebrate trucks, vans and SUVs of every year, make, model and style.

The Grand National Truck Show, presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts and Classic Truck Performance magazine, is open to all types and styles of trucks, vans and SUVs from 1900 to present. One-of-a-kind custom trucks will compete for the weekend’s most prestigious award, the World’s Most Beautiful Truck Award, presented by ARP Fasteners. This year’s entries include a wide range of vehicles, from early Fords to C10 Chevys and everything in between. The winner of this coveted prize will receive $12,500 and a custom trophy.

Additional awards will be given out in over 75 judged classes. This year, two new awards have been added: the Steve Stillwell Memorial Award, honoring the legacy of truck magazine publishing legend Steve Stillwell, and the Tom McWeeny Memorial Pinstriping Award, recognizing the finest pinstriping.

“Last year’s inaugural truck show was a huge success and caught the attention of collectors, builders and attendees,” said John Buck, owner of Rod Shows. “The response to the Grand National Truck Show has been outstanding so far, and we can’t wait to bring it back to Pomona this September.”

The weekend will also feature the popular Grand National Truck-In. This two-day outdoor portion of the show is open to all years and styles of trucks, SUVs and vans. It’s the perfect place to cruise in with your truck, hang out with your club and maybe even take home an award. Two-day Truck-In pre-registration is $80, which includes show admission for two, a dash plaque and a goody bag. Single-day on-site registration is $50 per day (cash only).

The Grand National Truck Show will be open to the public on Saturday, September 14, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, September 15, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adult admission is $20 each day, $10 for children ages 6 to 12 and children under 5 are admitted free. Parking is $17 per vehicle.
