The 4th Annual Grand National Truck Show presented by Classic Truck Performance returns to the Fairplex in Pomona, California, Sept. 26-27. Building on its reputation as the premier all-truck, SUV and van gathering on the West Coast, the two-day event features custom trucks, classic pickups, street trucks, SUVs, restored workhorses, vans, lifted, lowered, and patina rides spanning from 1900 to the present day, event officials stated. Produced by Rod Shows, the event brings together hundreds of elite builds, a massive outdoor truck-in, top-tier manufacturers and thousands of fans.
What to Expect at the Grand National Truck Show
World’s Most Beautiful Truck Award: The crown jewel of the event, the World’s Most Beautiful Truck competition presented by ARP Fasteners, brings together the nation’s premier custom truck builders. Hand-selected custom trucks contend for the highest honor in truck customizing, evaluated on detail, engineering, finish and design. The winner receives $12,500 in prize money and a custom trophy. Last year’s winner was a 1941 Willys pickup owned by Larry Jacinto.
Featured Vehicles: Attendees will get an up-close look at iconic pieces of automotive history: a special display of the legendary BIGFOOT monster truck, the radical cab-over Doug Jerger Dodge A100, and the original ’86 Econoline “Denimachine” (Coca-Cola x Levi’s) survivor artifact.
Grand National Truck-In: Presented by Classic Truck Performance, the outdoor show-and-shine is open to all years and models of trucks, vans and SUVs. Participants can drive in for a single day or the whole weekend, enjoying outdoor club parking and eligibility for Magazine Editor’s Choice awards.
House of Kolor 70th Anniversary: Celebrating seven decades of custom paint innovation, new official sponsor House of Kolor will present a featured showcase highlighting legendary finishes and iconic custom paint jobs.
Pinstriper Charity Auction: Several of the country’s top pinstripers will lend their talents to the popular Pinstriper Charity Auction by creating custom art to be auctioned for charity. For a small donation, attendees can also bring a cell phone, laptop or other item to get pinstriped. All proceeds go to the Volunteers for Veterans Foundation.
