Eastman Performance Films Continues to Invest for Growth

Eastman Performance Films has opened new installation training centers in Houston and Shanghai, China. These centers offer interactive, hands-on training classes in automotive, architectural, paint protection and safety films, according to the company.

The new facilities follow a series of ongoing investments by Eastman, including a major expansion of its Martinsville, Virginia manufacturing plant,  completed in March of this year.

Two additional locations in Florida and Toronto are set to open in early 2019, bringing the current number of centers operated by Eastman to nine.

The new training centers have a dedicated team committed to providing dealers and installers with the knowledge needed to get started in the business.

“We’re very excited to introduce the new centers and to expand our global training presence,” said Travis Smith, vice president & general manager. “Our international training and tech services team brings over 500 years of combined industry experience and technical expertise. The team is very passionate and dedicated to delivering the highest level of training and pattern quality out there, and we’re really proud of that.”

During the SEMA Show this week, Eastman unveiled its new LLumar 2019 paint scheme for the No. 88 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, driven by Alex Bowman in the premier NASCAR Cup Series.
