Chad McQueen Passes Away

A new report from AP News notes that actor and racing driver Chad McQueen has passed away. The only son of famed actor and racing driver, Steve McQueen, Chad McQueen was 63.
Following his father’s passion for both acting and racing, Chad began McQueen Racing in 2010, developing custom builds with Ford including the Steve McQueen Edition Bullitt Mustang, and the Steeda x McQueen Racing F-150.
Aside from his work in the world of customs, Chad also raced in SCCA, Motocross, the Baja 1000, Goodwood Festival of Speed and the 24 Hours of Daytona.
He also appeared in the “Karate Kid” movies and other films.
McQueen is survived by his wife, Jeanie, and his two children, Chase and Madison, who will continue to oversee the McQueen Racing company.
