See a full rendering below.Pfaff Designs‘ Murray Pfaff, with more than 10 HOT ROD Power Tours under his belt, has had more than 40 of his designs participate on the tour. Past highlights on the tour include Pfaff driving six of his own builds, and one year designing the giveaway car for the event.

This year, Cadillac V-Performance is providing a 2018 CTS-V to Pfaff Designs for the tour. Pfaff will give the car a graphic transformation featuring an asymmetrical hood treatment and trapezoidal graphic motif inspired by the Cadillac V-Series logo that will flank both sides of the supercharged sedan. Axiom Graphics of Berkeley, Michigan will assist Pfaff in completing the transformation.

While on tour Murray expects quite a bit of “endurance cruising” he says with a wink.  “But seriously there will be 3 days of auto crossing where I can put the 640 horses and third-generation Magnetic Ride control with Performance Traction Management to the test.  This will be fun.”

The Pfaff Designs version of the fastest production Cadillac ever will be displayed on the manufacturer’s midway with Pilot Transport each day of the tour.  The event takes place June 9-15 starting in Bowling Green, KY and ends at Z-Max Dragstrip outside of Charlotte, NC.

The Hot Rod Power Tour is a seven-day, seven-city car show with more than 6,000 vehicles participating and over 100,000 spectators expected to attend. In its 24th year, the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour will begin June 9 in Bowling Green, Kentucky and end June 15 in Concord, North Carolina with several stops in between.
