Bring a Trailer (BaT) announced a new partnership with Bicester Motion, the 444-acre automotive hub in Oxfordshire, representing the latest step in BaT’s ongoing expansion into the UK market, company officials stated in a press release. As a first stage of the partnership, BaT will have a presence at the Bicester Scramble on Sunday, April 26, alongside Sports Purpose, the auction platform’s newest lead Local Partner in the UK.
Set on the grounds of the former WWII RAF Bicester Bomber Training Station, Bicester Motion has been transformed into a hub for automotive businesses. Its historic workshops and hangars house a community of like-minded automotive specialists, making it a natural home for Bring a Trailer in the UK market, noted the release. The popular Bicester Scramble event, held several times a year at the site, showcases everything from hypercars and classics to competition machinery and uncommon automotive curios.
BaT staff, including Co-Founder and President Randy Nonnenberg, will be in attendance on Sunday, stationed at the Sports Purpose facility. They will be joined by a curated selection of cars currently listed on BaT in the UK, including a Porsche 356 Speedster; its spiritual successor, a Guards Red Porsche 987 Boxster Spyder; and a historic Chevrolet Camaro race car.

“We are delighted to partner with Bicester Motion as BaT continues its formal expansion into the UK market,” said Nonnenberg. “Bicester Motion is a place that we as a team have long admired, a true haven for car enthusiasts in the UK. It embodies the very best of the British car scene’s passion and expertise, so it’s the perfect venue for BaT over here.
“We’re also excited to be attending the Scramble on Sunday, an event that, much like BaT, is run by enthusiasts for enthusiasts. We’re going to have some great cars from our UK listings on show this weekend with our friends at Sports Purpose. So please do come over and say hello; we’re really looking forward to being there, talking cars, and understanding what is most important to UK auction users.”
“For Bring a Trailer to have chosen to partner with the Scramble is a real coup for us at Bicester Motion,” added Daniel Geoghegan, founder and CEO of Bicester Motion. “It aligns with the ethos of the Scramble perfectly: The rarest collector cars line up beside everyday classics and curios at the Scramble and in BaT’s listings. I look forward to seeing the team’s impact on the event grow, and to see how its relationship with James and the Sports Purpose team flourishes.”
