Bring a Trailer is offering a Lamborghini Countash LP400 that was once owned by Rod Stewart. Aside from the musican-owner heritage, the car also underwent a lefthand-drive conversion and a recent restoration. Stewart owned the car until 2002.
The 3.9-liter quad-cam V12 was restored by Lamborghini Polo Storico in 2022 alongside brake and interior work to bring the car back to LP400 specification. Under the musician’s ownership the car was modified in Southern California with a wide body kit and restyled roof to create a targa top. Since then the car has returned to original factory specifications.
Recent interior work included reupholstering the interior in tobacco brown leather. Included in the auction is a full binder of registration documents and service records going back to the 1990s.
