Classic Chevrolets To Sell With No Reserve at Barrett-Jackson Columbus Auction

Barrett-Jackson is selling several classic Chevrolet custom builds with no reserve, including an award-winning Pro-Touring 1967 Chevelle and a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, during this year’s inaugural Columbus Auction, June 25-27, at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fairgrounds.

Award-Winning Pro-Touring 1967 Chevelle Headlines Columbus Docket

The Pro-Touring 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Custom Coupe (Lot #744) is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V-8 engine producing 850 hp paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The body was acid-dipped and finished in PPG Starfire Blue. Interior appointments include a suede one-piece headliner, Mercedes-Benz carpet, custom dash, Dakota Digital HDX gauges, Vintage Air and Kenwood Bluetooth stereo. It has won multiple awards, including Daryl Starbird Fine 9 qualifier, Best Street Machine, Goodguys 2021 Chevy Muscle Pick and Super Chevy Best Chevelle, among others.

1967 Chevrolet Camaro Custom Coupe

The custom 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Custom Coupe (Lot #732) is powered by a 6.2-liter engine with Twin Comp turbos and an automatic transmission. The body underwent a six-year rotisserie, frame-off restoration and was dropped 2.5 inches. The custom interior incorporates a full lighting system integrated throughout the cabin and trunk. Interior features include sound-deadening throughout, electric air conditioning and heat, digital gauges, power windows and a modern 9-inch HD touchscreen with GPS navigation and Bluetooth, as well as Pioneer speakers.

1967 Chevrolet Corvette Custom Coupe

Powered by a 600-hp V-8 paired with a Tremec Transzilla 6-speed manual transmission, a custom 1967 Chevrolet Corvette (Lot #757) also on the docket was converted to a flush-mounted 1963 Split-Window-style rear glass and windshield configuration. Finished in black with a red Stinger hood, the exterior is complemented by side exhaust and custom styling details. The interior features custom Z06 power seats, power windows, an electronic parking brake, a Billet Specialties steering wheel, a Flaming River tilt steering column and a Vintage Air climate-control system.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Custom Coupe

Nicknamed “No Holds Barred,” a custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro (Lot #769) is powered by a 525-hp V-8 with a 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in blue, this comprehensive custom build features Vintage Air, power windows, a custom full-length console, Dakota Digital instrument cluster, and Kenwood touchscreen sound system with navigation and CarPlay.

“Several incredible original and restored Chevrolets are also headed to Columbus this June,” said Jackson. “These classics are true time capsules that retain the original factory components, offering a truly nostalgic ownership experience. A 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 features the correct V-8 engine with a 4-speed manual transmission, while a beautifully restored 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible had every system and component addressed during the restoration.”

1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28

The 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 (Lot #716) is powered by a DZ-code V-8 engine paired with a correct M20 4-speed manual transmission and Positraction rear end. Additional factory-correct components include the aluminum intake manifold, and the car retains its authentic high-performance drivetrain configuration. Finished in 79 Rally Green, the exterior features a ZL2 cowl-induction hood, D80 rear spoiler package and Goodyear Polyglas tires. The correct spare tire and jack assembly are also included.

1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible

Benefiting from a nut-and-bolt restoration, the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air Convertible (Lot #455) is powered by an era-correct 265-ci V-8 engine paired with a 3-on-the-tree manual transmission with overdrive. The exterior was refinished in its original factory color combination and features all-new glass and rechromed brightwork. Every system and component was addressed during the restoration, including the chassis and engine bay.

• 1969 Chevrolet Camaro (Lot #719) powered by an LS7 V-8 rated at 540 hp, paired with a T56 6-speed manual transmission and finished in Cortez Silver with black racing stripes
• 1957 Chevrolet 210 (Lot #684) powered by a 427 V-8 with Holley Terminator fuel injection paired with a 4L80E automatic transmission; finished in gloss red with Ciadella Slate leather interior trim
• 1953 Chevrolet 3600 pickup (Lot #702) powered by an LS fuel-injected V-8 paired with a 4L60 automatic overdrive transmission; finished in Rainforest Green, with Luggage Tan interior and custom seats with perforated leather and French seams
